Quiet, bright, hospitable and newly renovated one-bedroom apartment situated in the heart of the trendy Bastille area (at a max. ten minute’s walking distance from the Place des Vosges).

LAYOUT

The apartment is situated on the last floor of a six storey building which dates from the beginning of the 20th century. There is an elevator.

The 48 m2 apartment has an eastern-western exposure and there is no vis-à-vis. All the windows have double glazing and interior and exterior blinds.

The entrance opens on a hall that leads to the kitchen by the left and to the living room by the right. The access to the bedroom is by the left of the living room and the bathroom is accessible through the bedroom.

The 25m2 living room is equipped with a sofa, a lower table, a Club armchair, a TV, a DVD player, a wooden desk and a chair, a high-speed wireless access to the Internet, a round diner table and its matching chairs, bookcases, a fireplace (for decoration only), etc.

The master bedroom is furnished with two futon queen-size beds, one over the other. You can easily move one of them to the living room to make a comfortable double bed in it. There are two bedside tables, an Asian style cupboard, 2 bed tables and a cabinet.

The kitchen is well arranged with wooden worktop and cupboards and shelves. It is equipped with an oven, two vitro-ceramic burners, a refrigerator, a freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, a coffee machine and a toaster. There are all necessary utensils.

The bathroom is equipped with a shower cabin, a big washbasin, a mirror and a toilet.

A private adjoining room is equipped with a washing machine and a clothes drying rack. There is also an extra WC and a window.

Appartement 2 pièces calme, lumineux, tout confort et refait à neuf, situé au coeur de Bastille (à 10 min à pied de la place des Vosges).

Capacité optimum : 2 personnes.

Capacité maximum : 4 personnes.

 

DISPOSITION

L'appartement est situé au 6e et dernier étage d'un immeuble du début du siècle. L'ascenseur entièrement vitré est tout récent.

D’une superficie de 48m2, sans vis-à-vis, il est exposé est-ouest. Les fenêtres sont équipées d’un double vitrage.

L’entrée donne sur un petit couloir, la porte de la cuisine est à gauche et la porte du salon en face. L'accès à la chambre se fait du salon et la salle de bains est accessible de la chambre.

Le salon de 25m2 est équipé d’un sofa, d'une table basse, d'un fauteuil club, d'une télé, d’un lecteur de DVD, d’un bureau, d'une table ronde pour manger, d'une bibliothèque, d'une cheminée, etc.

La chambre est équipée d'un grand lit futon, avec 2 matelas épais superposés. Il y a deux tables de nuit, une armoire chinoise et une commode. Pour coucher 4 personnes comfortablements, un futon peut être installé dans le salon.

La cuisine est équipée de placards, d'étagères et de plans de travail en bois. Elle contient : four traditionnel électrique, four à micro-ondes, deux plaques vitrocéramiques, réfrigérateur congélateur, lave-vaisselle, machine à café, grille-pain, et tous les ustensiles nécessaires.

La salle de bain est équipée d'une cabine de douche, d'un grand lavabo, d'un miroir et d'un toilette.

Une petite dépendance privée attenante à l'appartement (qui ferme à clef) comprend machine à laver le linge, étendoir à linge, WC supplémentaire et fenêtre donnant sur la cour.

Getting to the flat

From CDG's or Orly's airport:

There are several options to get to the flat.

--> By taxi: It should cost you between 30 and 50 € depending on the traffic. Parisian taxis charge a minimum fee when you get on the cab.

--> By shuttle (CDG: Roissy Bus / Orly: Orlyval / Orly Sud: Orlybus)
Roissy Bus shuttles drive from CDG's airport to "Opera". They come every 15 to 20 minutes and it's a 50 minutes ride to downtown Paris.
One-way ticket cost 8.50 euros.

Orlyval shuttles
35 min. from Orly to "Chatelet".
One-way ticket cost 9.10 euros.

Orlybus shuttles
They drive from Orly Sud to "Denfert Rochereau" (downtown Paris). It's a 30 min. ride.
One-way ticket cost 6 euros.

Once downtown ("Opera", "Chatelet" or "Denfert-Rochereau"), you'll take the metro, the bus or a taxi to the flat.
Here we give you the details for the metro. For more information about buses and other public transportation info, you can visit the Paris transportation website : http://www.ratp.fr, where you will find maps, schedules, prices, etc. (there is no English version though).

--> by RER+ metro:
The RER is the suburbian subway. There are central RER stations in downtown Paris, and the different RER lines can take you to the two airports and anywhere in the suburbs (RER A, RER B, RER D, RER E).

To leave the airport by RER (line RER B), you must buy a ticket to downtown Paris.
You can get a one-day ticket called "Mobilis" for 12.30€. You can use the same Mobilis ticket for other metro/bus/RER trips on the same day (see www.ratp.fr for more details).

Take RER line B in direction of Robinson/Saint-Remy Les Chevreuses.
Your stop is "Chatelet Les Halles".

If you chose the shuttle or the RER option, you will get to downtown Paris. Here is to get to our building by metro.
You can purchase metro tickets inside the metro station. If you take the metro or the bus a few times during your stay, you should buy a "carnet de tickets" (10 tickets). It will be cheaper than buying a one-way ticket each time, and of course cheaper than the taxi.

Our flat is situated near three metro stations: Bastille (line 1, 5 and 8), Chemin Vert (line 8) and Bréguet-Sabin (line 5).
From "Opera":

Take line 8. It's the purple line on the metro map- goes East to Creteil and West to Balard. Choose direction Creteil and get off in "Chemin Vert" station.

From "Chatelet":

In the RER/metro station "Chatelet Les Halles", change to line 1 (the yellow line which goes from "La Defense" to "Vincennes"). Take line 1 in the direction of Vincennes and get of at "Bastille" (you have 3 stops).

From "Denfert Rochereau":

Take line 6. It's the green line which goes East towards "Charles de Gaulle" and West towards "Nation". Take the line in direction of "Nation" and change at "Place d'Italie".
Take line 5. It's the orange line which starts South in "Place d'Italie" and which goes North towards "Bobigny". You have 5 stops to "Bastille".

 

From Beauvais airport (60 KM from Paris)

A paying shuttle service (13 € per trip and per person), is organized to and from Paris-Beauvais Airport and Paris-Porte Maillot.

To book your tickets, go to tickets.aeroportbeauvais.com.

From Porte Maillot, take the metro line 1 down to Bastille, heading to Château de Vincennes.
